A massive Thank You from Stu and Caz
Thank you ALL so much for making our special day so truly amazing. As everyone has been saying, the amount of love in that room (marquee) was incredible. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
If you value LOVE as one of the most important virtues in the world, then we have to be one of the luckiest couple alive. To be genuinely loved by so many hundreds of people is very humbling, mindblowing, exhilarating, and very, very special. We love you all too!
The list of people we have to thank is literally endless, from the preparations, the setting up, the support on the day, and the clearing up afterwards. So, in no particular order ..... The vicar, choir & organist at St James Church, Vicky from Sweet Lavender Blue for the flowers, Scott and Short Elbow, Tim for his speech, Georgie for the Humanist Ceremony, Tom for the medieval sword, its presentation & cake cutting ceremony, Tina for her fantastic cake, Ben, Dan & Ricky for cheffing, Julie & Lisa for the day catering & replenishments for the evening, and all the waitresses, Guy, Simon & Gary for the initial bar, Josh & his team from the Old Spot for the running of our bar, Bruce for dealing with the beer tokens on the day, Chas for allowing us to brew our special Nuptuale, Ellie & Julie for her help with advising and supplying the wine, cider, lager, sparklies etc, Georgie & all at Manor Printing, Rupert the photographer, Sam for the videography (weren't they so discreet?!), the car, the taxi firms (AJ at Jenkins & Mike at A2B, & others), Phil & Matt from Minor Swing (arrival band), Vic & Richard and the rest of the Vibe (evening band), Tom and the Playing Field committee, Paul and all the guys from Alpha Hire for the marquee, Lee from Cotswold Chiller Hire for the Fridge Trailer, Mark from Town & Country loos, Gloucester Event Hire for the crockery & cutlery, Scott of Moss Bros for the suit hire, and Rupert & Chris for their collection & return, By Design (THAT amazing Wedding Dress), Jo for the makeup, Kate for the incredible hairdo, Stumpy for the putting out of the signs, Steve for car park organisation, the loads of people who dashed here, there and everywhere for us getting last minute items ...
... All the cards and lovely gifts (we'll get around to thanking you all soon), all the AMAZING food donations for the evening buffet - the quality and quantity was breathtaking (thank you all so much), Sony for traveling to his Mum's in Birmingham for 150 plus of those sensational samosas, etc etc etc ...
... And of course the Bridal Escort (Dan, Carole's son), the Best Man (Chris, Stu's son), the Chief Bridesmaid (Emma, Carole's daughter, our Chief Usher (Martin), our Master of Ceremonies (Gordon), and all the other ushers (Grant, Rupert, Paul, Chris, John, Karl), the bridesmaids (Jenna, Caz & Imi) & flower girls (Anya & Georgia), and Richard for chauffeuring us around in our wedding garb, and of course Mary at the Top Crown for our 'ushers breakfast' ...
... And then the Sunday Chillout ... Ken and Phil from the Welcome Parrots, Easy Tiger, Leon Daye, and of course Pete with his Northern Soul Vinyl Disco, Josh, and the bar & catering staff, and all of you for turning up ....
But a VERY SPECIAL thank you to Georgie, Jenny, Carol, Tanya, Libby, Hannah, Jenna, Caz, Karla, Gayle and many others, for so much, and especially being there when we needed them.
And who have I forgotten?
My Wife? I love you Darling, so much, and always will with all that I am ... FOREVER. xxxxxxxx
